Carbon Seat Stays keep serious vibration from going through the frame and into your ass. Another rare sight is a full 105 group. Usually you get 105 rear deraileur and maybe levers but get some downgraded junk for front deraileur and brakes. The R550 wheels are very nice and straight!

Without these carbon forks the bike would have handled terribly (because the front wheel would keep falling off). seriously, carbon does help to dampen road vibration.
